All products we manufacture are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) and Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) free. Although there is no evidence linking SLS to cancer (including the American Cancer Society definitively stating there is no link) sulphates can be harsh on the hair and an irritant to the scalp and skin if not washed off properly. For this reason we do not use this ingredient as a foaming agent in any products we manufacture.
All products iRange Formulations manufacture are Paraben (Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Propylparaben, Ethylparaben) Free. Known to disrupt hormone function, an effect that is linked to increased risk of breast cancer and reproductive toxicity. iRange Formulations use effective alternatives to Parabens to prevent microbial growth and preserve products.
None of the products iRange Formulations manufacture including styling wax's and pomades are made with ingredients obtained from petroleum or gas. Petrochemicals are ingredients derived from crude oil (Petrolatum Wax, Mineral Oil). There is strong evidence that mineral oil hydrocarbons are the greatest contaminant of the human body, amounting to approximately 1gm per person and these trace contaminants from petroleum based ingredients can penetrate the skin.

Still found in over 40 per cent of all products available in the supermarket from food, cleaning products, personal care products, skin care and hair care.
